Do clients see everything on a project?

No. A project stays hidden until you share it. Once shared, clients see progress, milestones, their requirements, the updates and files you share, and nothing else. Budgets, payments, tasks and internal notes never reach the portal.

Can a project be ongoing, like a retainer?

Yes. Leave the due date out and the project shows as ongoing. Pair it with a recurring invoice in Finance to bill it every month.
